"First of all the Robertsons are 'tres sympa' and Le Pommier is just right for two people. St Jean d'Angely has everything - wonderful patisseries, markets, restaurants and the people are friendly. The surrounding area is also interesting and Aulnay, Matha, Saintes and Cognac are particularly lovely. We had a great time.
